Are you a brick and mortar business?  Need help claiming your Yelp listing and making it shine?  No problem!

Here is a step by step guide on how to claim your listing and get it in tip top shape!

Step 1:  Find your business listing on Yelp.

[Please note:  If you are not currently listed, create your listing.  This typically takes 24-48 hours to go through the Yelp verification process.  Once verified, you can begin the claiming process.]

 

Step 2:  Visit the Yelp for Business Owners Page and click “Claim my Business.”

 

Step 3:  Search for your business.

 

Step 4:  Find your business and click “Claim.”

 

Step 5:  Create your business account.

Step 6:  Yelp will verify your listing by calling the phone number listed on the Yelp listing.  You must enter the 4 digit pin they provide when they call.  The final three stages look like this:

Step 7:  Congratulations!  Your listing is now claimed and you can begin to update!  Here is a visual of your dashboard:

Step 8:  You can now begin by updating these important areas:

• Business Information.  Make sure everything is accurate.
• Photos.  The more the better!
• Reviews.  You should always respond to reviews, positive or negative.
