Going to the circus is always a memorable experience for all.  Right?

The UniverSoul Circus was recently in Chene Park in Detroit and the turnout was unlike any other.  With a typical circus tent, you wouldn’t expect anything but a traditional circus.  Think again.

This show is full of top 40 pop, hip-hop and soul train funk to keep the audience engaged.  The crowd is rowdy.  The talent was extravagant.  The vibe was top notch.  All the attendees were blown away and walked out of the tent with a smile on their face.

Their were many extraordinary acts, including:

• Show girls with Elephants
• Magicians with Lions and Tigers
• Acrobats
• Tightrope
• Stilt walkers
• African, Jamaican and other international Dancers
• Figure Skaters
• Aerial Acts
• And so much more!

Events like these are exactly what Detroit needs more of.  There are so many things going on in the city at any given time, but major shows like these have a greater following to bring people downtown.  Detroit has vast amounts of space and venues to accommodate many different events.
